A little repair job from this weekCustomer pulled the threads right off1 Broken part2 Then turn bad thread off3 build upTried my hand at build up with ni99 rod didnt have much luck with it even after reading up on the process on this and other sources. Lots of proisity so turned it off and built it up the way I normaly do .SS tig rod 3/32 308l100 % argon gas 200 amp on my millerDont have a weld positioner so I use a round bar welded to table and spin by hand.No Pre heat just let her rip Then wrap in welding blankets and wait.Sorry no pics after the ss buildup it was quitting time and I forgot in the morning.No holes the second time around thats goog enough for me!4 Back to the lathe for finish work.http://weldingweb.com/attachment.php...1&d=1268625807Thanks Attached Images
