Well a friend of mine has a HF Arc-120 welder, we used it to weld his exhaus on his car yesterday fine.But today i went to use it, i was planning on making a side shelf for my tool box, both metals are steel.So anyway i try to start welding it, and i cannot for the life of me get the weld to start, the rod will just spark and stick to the work, i cant get a weld going at all. I tried adjusting the knob all the way out to all the way in..I took auto body/welding in vocational school so i know the basics of welding..i grinded the work to bare metal |
