I have a lincoln sa 200 and I need to run new wires from the alternator to the voltage regulator to the amp meter and I need to know what size gauge to run. I'm thinking 14 gauge but not sure. I did do a search, but couldn't find anything. Thanks for the help.

Reply:Thanks duaneb55,My gauge on the machine is showing discharge, so I started looking, and the voltage regulator wire on the ignition side fell off, (rusted) bought a new regulator and still discharging, so I sent the alternator to a repair shop and checked out, nothing wrong with it, put it back on. The insulation on the wires is starting to crack, so I'm thinking maybe a short somewhere. Thanks for the help |
