I upgraded my 40cf 75/25 bottle to a 125cf bottle today. It's just a better deal since the price to fill the two are almost the same. How many hours could I expect to get out of this new bottle if I set the regulator at 25psi?
Reply:Are you sure that gauge isn't calibrated for cfh and not psi?20-25cfh is a typical shielding gas flow and at that rate you're looking at around 5 hours of weld time with a full 125cf cylinder.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:Your correct. Sorry for my ignorance. I always assumed the gauge was reading in psi. The cfh makes much more sense. I got it now. Thanks!
Reply:All else being equal, the 125 will last about 3X whatever your 40 used to last.
