I designed this on my computer to fit my Lincoln Ranger 250. Then bought the needed materials. I cut down an old trailer axle and sleved it togther. Designed a spare tire holder into the project. I bought the fenders, crank down pin and safety chain from an online company. Attached Images
Reply:that is a very cool trailer but where are your welding cable reels
Reply:Good thing you have a truck to pull it. People would give you sh!t if you pulled it with a hatchback(referenceing my little trailer setup). Seriously though looks slick. I was thinking "oh man waters gonna fly up into the air intake grill" till I saw the rear grills in the second picture. Maybe a hinged flip up shield for the grill? I know if I had something that nice I would be worried about it to no end. Also road debri such as rocks could pelt the pretty out of it in no time. Just some conversation fodder not dissing it as I said its slick.
Reply:Nice job. But you left no room for additions like material, gas cylinders, ect. And I might be worried about blocking too much air flow with your spare tire. Don't know for sure but it looks kinda close to the vents."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:I really like the low center of gravity. Just wondering, is your axle dropped? Very cool trailer.

Reply:Originally Posted by technoidNo not dropped. Just 14" trailer wheels on a standard 1 ton axle. The axle came off an old Doolittle box trailer. And thanks everyone for the replys. Anyone who would like the plans to build this just email me and I'll send you what I drew.

Reply:nice trailerAnd a nice machine.I started with an old AC welder, and still like AC. Old geezer syndromeSo I partnered up with the GXT, it had the AC.When you're tired, and don't want to coil up and remove the leads, you may regret not having on-trailer storage, but it's easy to add it down the road. You have a good solid welder. Fire it up once in a while to keep the armature shiny, and never fill the tank without adding Stabil. Double the dose on the Stabil if it's going to be sitting for long periods. And if possible..............STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING BUT ETHANOL FREE GASOLINE"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:AND QUIT USING THE PUTER TO DESIGN STUFF!!!!!!The puter doesn't weld, and the puter doesn't thinkYou welded the trailer, and your noggin came up with the design. The puter is just a pile of circuit boards."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Don't use mixed gas that is older than 30 days. The lube will separate in the gas and damage the engine. And yes, I do put stabilizer in the gas in all my equipment.
