so this is my first welder that weighs under 300 pounds. so i figured i needed to add a little weight. i turned the heavy duty 110v extension cord (10 ga wires) into a light duty 220v cord. i think it is about 40 feet long. put a couple of 110 plugs on the top for grinders and such, will be putting a spool on the left side for the leads, and a 20 lb co2 bottle mounted under the handle. Reply:Turk:I have to warn you about your current operation. Having been in electronics for over 30 years I note that using your welder this way is causing the electrons to have to flow uphill putting a terrible strain on them........Sign on East Texas payphone: Calls to God 40 cents......it's a local call...

Reply:One other thing. I know it's cool in Alaska, but you should still leave room for air flow from the cooling fan."The man of great wealth owes a peculiar obligation to the State, because he derives special advantages from the mere existence of government."
