I made this pit for my sister-in-law and her new husband. All I have left to do is paint it, and if the winds subside I'll paint it tomorrow. Now if I can get them to buy some ribeyes, so we can test it out. Attached Images
Reply:Very nice! Hope to see "in use" photo's. "Every choice you make will effect at least one other person"
Reply:I like Ribeyes see if you can get me one lol Really looks nice how tall is the grill Thanks for sharing Vernon
Reply:I really like the depth of the firebox! Big heat = big wood, slow cook = toss some sticks through the air vent.I'm thinking if I built one after seeing yours, I'd have a bit more room over the grill (enough to fit a 20-30lb shoulder roast in). And, as much as I scar up my head, I'd move the air vent to the other side, away from the shelf (I'm darn hard to train!).Outstanding work!Matt
Reply:Thanks guys! Vernon the grill is 33" and I can send you one next day delivery. If I don't forget my camera, I'll definitly take some pictures. |
