Reply:You may want to ask the person/entity responsible for inspecting and administering the test what the specific criteria is for your specific test.Generally, you want to see all the qualities of a good fillet weld-Near flat bead face with few surface irregularitiesLeg lengths equal to plate thickness and equal to eachotherToes wet in with no overlap and straight, even toe linesNo voids inside the weld (porosity or slag inclusion)Fully penetrated rootGood fusion to both plates throughout the weldMM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
