I'm going to trade in my bottles today for full ones. I know that the fill volumes vary from bottle to bottle and have heard they decline over time especially with the acetylene. I've tried to find a chart of how much my bottles could hold under an ideal circumstance. Unfortunatley I cannot find any such list.I have a #2 acetylene and an "M" oxygen. How much could I hope to get in my new bottles under perfect circumstances? The ones I have now were filled to 55 cuft and 125 cuft respectively. I don't want to get short fills.Thanks.
Reply:Well I think I found the information.#2 Acetylene is about 60 cuft under ideal circumstances"M" Oxygen is abotu 130 cuft under ideal circumstancesDoes anyone recognize these numbers as being accurate or way off base? Thanks again.
