This was run with a Millermatic 135 on 3/8 plate. Was gound and "veed" out top and bottom. I am running the welders off a dedicated 100 amp box from the service pole to the shop. I welded the top with the MM135 and the back side with my new Syncrowave 180 SD. Took the part and put it in a 50 ton press. It bent the steel, didnt break the weld, Flipped it and did the same, Same results. Baby miller was at 10 (100%) .030 wire was at aprox 12. Synchrowave was at 100 (way to hot, used to using a Lincoln) with 6011 1/8 rod. I am learning the 180 and the first few welds were terrible. It seems to run way hotter then a Linciln 225 AC/DC buzz box at the same settings for the same size steel. Learning how to tig is my next endeavor. Seeing you guys do razor blades and beer cans is unreal talant. There is not a book printed that can hold a candle to the usefull information shared by the welders on this website. Thanks to all you.
