Reply:Bike stand for working on your dirt bike.My name's not Jim....
Reply:For hunting you could do a tree stand, climbing pegs, or rear hitch rack for carrying bambi home, adjustable rifle rest, various target frames and silouettes, Fishing, boat anchor/grapple, "rocket launcher" for beach fishing, rod holders (either the kind you stick in the ground or boat mounted ones). downrigger setup for trolling, boat canopy, custom made deck cleats. I also made some steel "structures" for holding fish for a friends pond. we had a pile of old used rebar and I just bent welded it up in a big ball like item thats similar to a sunken tree with branches/roots. We also welded up a bunch of short  foot long lengths of 6-12" dia pipe like you'd stack fire wood for lobster hotels we'd drop in the ocean near where we dive.I built one of those pipe frame 10'x20' tents for a friend. He wanted it for outdoor events, but he also uses it to park his car under as a temp garage. BBQ grill / smoker / firepit. Then theres always coat hooks, rod and gun racks, boot brush, tiki torch holders (posted recently), plant hangers, garden trellis, plant cages for tomatoes, cucumbers, beans etc. truck racks, bumpers, brush gaurds, rock sliders/ steps..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:dang man, you got tons of ideas!  I might have to scrape off a few of those for around my house.
Reply:Just bring in a Briggs&Stratton engine and a set of wheels ... start building a custom minibike or chopper.  Not only will it interest the other kids, the teacher might like doing it, too.Cars, trucks, planes, trains, motorcycles, animals, etc. out of nuts and bolts and scrap metal.
Reply:We have the same hobbies its weird... i just dont mess with much art. You could also make a shop stand for working on bicyclesMiller Dynasty 300 DXMiller CST280Miller Maxstar 150 STH
Reply:Art is anything you make it, I made a little replica of a small block chevy for my buddies desk (he rebuilds 6.5 diesels in our facility). I had another co-worker offer me $20 to make him one.  heres a pic. you could make a small replica of somting you like too.FLASH ME.... I'm a welder
Reply:Here's a simple wine rack I built for my niece. When I took it to get it powdercoated, the owners wife ordered one as well. $120 before powdercoating. She was good with that. It was an easy build and took about an hour and a half after the thinking was done. Attached Images
Reply:you could make a fishing pole holder, gun rack for truck or 4 wheeler or even the cabin, or maby even some sort of spreader for hanging your deer to skin him or a rack that comes apart that you can hoist a deer up on to skin him then take apart so that way you can pack it it and out i know it would be nice in my area cause we dont have many trees to hang our deer on hope these ideas work for ya show us some pics when you get donew with your projectLincoln Pro Core 125Lincolin sp 100Miller Big 40Lincoln Idealarc SP250miller matic 212http://www.facebook.com/hdwelding?sk=wallwww.hdweldingbeds.com

Reply:My daughter made one of those concrete octagon pads but didn't know what to do with it. I suggested she build a table which could be used next to the park bench. So she welded up some angle and pipe:
Reply:Nothing like welding in your favorite "CAT" t-shirt!
Reply:Nice little table, and it's good to see she's continuing on in the family business.  Not too many female welders out there (or should that be "weldress"?)
