NYC welding cert

Anyone know about the welding cert threw the New York city building department? I Think its new. I was told i need to get it for a job coming up
Reply:i have heard it is welded in the 4G position. It is supposed to be a single V groove joint with backing and a 1/4 root opening. The groove angle is 45* and it must be welded completely  with an oscar meier weiner!

Reply:nyc.....if you are ina union, they will know all about it. if you're not, you probably wont get the work anyway.
