Made and installed some new pin bushings in some hydraulic cylinder ends today..No biggie.Cylinders..Torch set up..Done both sides..Welder on "Kill"Amp knob down to around 60..3/32"Red...045 70S-2 filler..I get all the fun jobs.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Hello forhire, I'm going to take a stab at why this repair was done in this manner. Since the finished bore required snap ring grooves it was easier to machine a bushing with the grooves already there before pressing in and welding it into place. Otherwise the machining process for putting in the snap-ring grooves would have been much more challenging. Just a guess on my part. Best regards, Allanaevald
