Hello guys, I'm looking into building a hoosier pole for an umbrella. Kinda what you see in the pipeliners welding trucks. I'm wondering if anybody has build one for themselves and has any pictures that they can provide or ideas on how to build one for me to get started. Im looking to construct one bolted to the bed of my truck. Any designs, ideas, or suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. By the way, I'm new to the forum.
Reply:This is one I can remember. There have been others posted in the past, but I can't remember them right now. There was another one with an umbrella that tilted IIRC that someone here posted last year, and a cool shade awning that extended out from the side of a tracked machine used for pipe work.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=31410 Oh and welcome to the forum..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I just use a three leg pipe stand. Pull the tube and screw jack out. My market umbrella fits right inside.http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...B48487&first=1 |
