Lost one of the clamps for my straightedge I use for ripping lumber and cutting sheetrock. Since the co is no longer in business, I figured to build my own. The welds aren't very pretty welding 16 ga to cast but I think they'll hold OK as not a lot of squeeze is required to hold the edge in place. If they break I'll get the brass out next time.
