...... if you have a BBQ pit mounted to your welding table..... Wish I had a true work shop, but instead I've got to settle for working underneath my 2 car carport. Last weekend, I built my new welding table. I did not have room for it, my BBQ pit, 2 pickups and other odds and ends to all fit underneath the carport. So, I tore my charcoal BBQ pit down and welded an angle iron frame for it to mount on, welded 1/2 round rod to the angle iron, then 2 pieces of square tubing welded underneath the new table to allow the BBQ grill to slide in to the tubing to cook and then can be removed for when it's time to work on the table.I'm loving playing with my welder and all the neat ideas I've got swimming through my brain.....
Reply:Tell people it's a heat treat oven when they ask... of course if it smells like bbq cooking that might not get rid of them
