Barefoot skiers

A guy hired me to do this for him.  Used clay for the water.  This was a fun one! Attached Images(Retired) Professional firefighter, amateur everything else I try to do...Oh yeah:  Go Big Red!   (You know: one of the 12 members of the Big 10 cuz we left the 10 members of the Big 12...)

Reply:good work. those guys have pretty good form up there as wellI wont get started on my water ski pictures or videos. I have been on the water since I was a year and two month old. on my own skis at the age of three and no not the cheater skimmer board. I hope to be in the mens 3 event open class with in the next two or three years for trick and jump.

Reply:You guys are crazy.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Its actually not that bad on the feet, they burn a little the first few times, after that it feels like a massage. Its hard on the face, neck, back, ear drums..

Reply:Wow, that's like no 'barefoot skiing' that I've seen before...As a VERY young Kid, I remember watching my Parents and their friends skiing barefoot, behind OLD glass boats.  Those things made HUGE wakes and it was FUN watching their attempts to 'hit the smooth' water on the far sides.  No life vests, no wet-suits...  Crazy Stuff!Man, that was almost 40 YEARS ago..!Miller Diversion 165120 amp Buzz BoxVictor Oxy/Ace Oxy/LPGSmith "Little" Oxy/LPGHypertherm Powermax 30Lot's of Misc. tools n' crap....

Reply:My barefooting days are over. Mostly because I don't have a boat or nearby water.Love the sculpture. I thought about your clay idea from your slalom guy, but ended up with clumps of weld and some of that textured paint on a diver project I did recently.Keep us updated, you have talent!
