To build this?http://cgi.ebay.com/ParaBody-Bodysmi...item2a0cfa9972If I were in chicago obviously it would be cheaper to buy it but the cheapest I can find is 277.00 for a similar model locally and I have been looking for a welding project- I guess you could figure roughly 40' 2" square tubing8' 2.5" rectangular tubing3' 1/4" or 3/16" flat stock12' 1" round stock1.5' 2.5" rectangular tubing cut and fit for locks50.00 in miscellaneous grade 8 hardware (though those are probably grade 5)Not sure where to get the plastic end covers2 giant washers for the ends (not sure where to get those)And whatever the machine shop would charge to bend the round stock and drillpress the several 1" holes or 1 1/16" holes for a little clearance4 cans of spray paintI already have a thermal arc 185 tig/stick welder and a lincoln buzz box.  I will probably need a new tank of argon but should have the filler I need.Is it worth it?Thanks!AndrewLast edited by hpfiend; 12-31-2010 at 11:23 AM.

Reply:It's worth it if you don't assign a value to your time. It's worth it for the prideful feeling of building something yourself. Plus, every new project is more experience, which boils down to long term competence, craftsmanship, and efficiency.That simply can't be beat. Reply:you build power racks?I don't think it would collapse on me- I am not   a pro but it is pretty difficult not to get good penetration with tig.
