How to roast Bambi

I'm a new guy here on the forum. My favourite section has got to be the welding projects and pictures. Lots of cool stuff being built.I thought I would post a picture of a roaster that I just finished off for Christmas. A Greek family had approached me and asked if I could fabricate it. I have no experience with roasters so most of it I came up with on my own. Its main use will be for lamb however it could be used for for anything.The unit is 72 inches long and 30 inches deep. It features 2 spits, the back one is multi adjustable by using a center mounted scissor jack mounted below.I fabricated everything except for the casters and motors. Everything that touches food is 304 stainless steel. The spits are bearing mounted for smooth operation.The project took me about 4 months working in my evenings and some weekends. Reply:That looks really great! Can I ask what motors you used and where you got them? I built a pig roaster a few years back and the motor I used will turn anything I put on the thing but it also cost about $400.00! I've been gathering up material to build another one but a cheaper motor would be nice.Sure, I can fix it... I got a welder!!!
