Bucket addition

This is my first post but not my first project, I needed to add an extension to my skid steer bucket. Attached Images
Reply:Looks good. Don't forget to add an anti slip step or something similar so the operator does not fall when trying to get in the cab.
Reply:What is it for?  Pushing brush piles? Looks like you will just have to step over it to get in and out, but some expanded metal tacked to the top would make for good traction if you do step on it.I wonder how much it will screw with your ability to see the cutting edge?
Reply:I like that one. Vision is not affected hardly on these because of the expanded metal.  I did something similar but bigger and mine is removable. Did it for snow plowing and carrying bulk mulch. Millermatic DVIMillermatic 251Older buzz box Cheap 120 welder
Reply:Good looking addition.  They are common here in OZ, but they seem to make them out of angle instead and always end up buckled or in need of repair.Seems your welding/grinding/chop saw is a little too close to my car for comfort.
Reply:We were a little tight for space that day so I got pushed outside. The one on my CASE is made out of angle and is in need of repair so thats why i went with the 2" on this one. With the extra hight of the seat in the new CAT's I can see the cutting edge of the bucket just fine.

Reply:We have a 256c and it is nice, the a/c is great in the summer and the pressurized cab makes sweeping gravel up in the spring a lot nicer. Some days i find the response from the controls a little slow, but when i do have to do a bunch of dirt work I prefer my older case 70xt.
