emergency 316ti vs s235jr

i got  316ti   stainless and      s235jr   for  position B ,  thickness : 6mm ,  process manuel tungsten inert gas.  do i have to make a buttering layer ?or  309 wire is enough without buttering layer
Reply:Think I'm missing something in the translation... but are you asking how to weave with tig? o.Oonly heard buttering used (hardly ever) as a term to describe a weld... usually a weave.
Reply:when welding ss to mild, you butter the mild with 309 and then weld the two togetrher with 309. hope that helps

Reply:thank you all guys !  it was an emergency for the moment  and then we decided that it was not very critical   part and so we did it without buttering layer  and just a 309 wire . thanks for your helps.
