Frying Pan Tower volunteer welders

Guys, We've a place about 30 miles off the coast of North Carolina called the Frying Pan Tower (www.FPTower.com) that needs some attention by a few adventurous welders who would like to experience a great vacation / work weekend.  We have some pipes under the main structure that need patch repairs where there's plenty of good work areas (no hanging) and a Miller Bobcat 250 welder/generator onsite.If you are interested and located on the East Coast, we want to hear from you. Reply:Neat project.  You should post pictures of the repairs needed if possible so the guys here can see what they might be in for.  I'd be curious to know more about the project overall (after having read through the website) and how you came to be involved with it?  seems like a really cool adventure for all involved...

Reply:So what do these welders need to peform the work that needs to be done? Do they need saftery gear, harnesses,rope,welding rods,fuel,etc. etc?  Where do they stay and eat? Is everything paid except the labor??  Do they get dropped off for a week, then you come back and get them? We need details on what needs to be done, your expectations for what can and can't be done in a week. DO you want a a guy or two, or 30?
