I am NOT an Everlast Salesman and I never heard of them until 3 weeks ago. Thats why I asked the question. I am a fultime pipeline welder with the United Association and have been for the past 22 years. I said I tried one out not purchased one-I already have a unit and it is a Miller Dynasty 200DX and it is awesome. When I had my own rig I also owned a Miller PipePro. Whats with the firestorm????? I would never trust my own business to a cheap offshore product.   I was suprised that you could get a Plasma, TIG and Stick unit all in one for 700.00 that actually welding 1/8 Stainless plate and not to bad at that.I didn't know one could be hung by the neck until dead for trying out a machine he never heard of and then ask in a forum if anyone else had tried it. So sorry.Norm

Reply:We don't edit ANYTHING now, since about July.  As a rule, even on our own web forum, we stay out of the editing room, except for the spams and other things of a similar nature that pop up.But some people get their kicks living in the past, and making comments on products that haven't the faintest idea about.Last edited by lugweld; 03-05-2010 at 05:37 PM.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT

Reply:Obviously, there are on going issues here with the Everlast crowd that I was totally unaware of.  As I said, I would not trust my business to an unknown offshore product.  I am concerned however, what impact this will have on Miller and Lincoln for example who offer cutting edge products and spend huge amounts in Research and Development.Norm
Reply:You will catch on soon enough.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:DSW,I had a Lincoln ranger that had a bad board in it.  Yes, it was out of warranty, but just a little.  I tried ordering the board, and it was no longer available, and had been superceded many times, which tells me it was a problem to start with.  Then, I was told it would take 4 weeks until they "made" more.    I finally found a board at a place that rebuilt mine for a quarter of the price they wanted for a new one.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:Okay gang, take a rest. OP, carry on, don't sweat it. The rest of you, find harmony within, or find it within 30 days in the penalty box. Enough. Please move on, have a beer, look at a welding arc with no goggles on, try something different. It's Friday. Relax. And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
