Reply:Wow, was that flange cast? If so , is it gonna hold up ? Can another flange be put along side or maybe two sandwiching the broken flange? Would that even help? Looks like an expensive break ,but I imagine everything for that would cost an arm and a leg.........Mike

Reply:id have liked to see the fotos betwwen 1 and 2.. the break sure looks cast but if you look in foto 2 that whole axle  is welded together including connecting the flange to the box...bead  looks like silibronze but that would be a weak choice....

Reply:The flange is cast steel, It is MIG'ed to the end of the housing which is mild. I used er70-2 then post heated to anneal the weld. It is the second one I've done with no problems.I hate rude behavior in a man.......Won't tolerate it!                   Woodrow F. Call
