stump grinder

I am going to build a small stump grinder with a yanmar L100 diesel engine. any info on building the head would be help full and the drive thanks i am not sure if i should use a belt drive or chain thanks
Reply:Belts may absorb the shock loads better. I might find a factory machine and do a thorough nosing around it to see how its put together.
Reply:what about using the wheel bearing and flange off a front wheel drive car. take the end of the cv shaft and weld a double sheeve pulley onto the tulip then build brackets and a toothed wheel
