Airco Motorized Torch Holder Model D - Anyone know anything about this thing?

So I got this thing (actually 2 of them) in a lot of surplus tools. It is labeled "AIRCO MOTORIZED TORCH HOLDER MODEL D". I can't find anything on the web and I was hoping that someone here would be kind enough to enlighten me. First of all, what is this thing for exactly? (I gather it may be used to make cuts or welds that are more precise or even than those made by hand but beyond that...)Is this tool totally obsolete or would it be useful to welders today?Lastly, dare I ask if someone would speculate about a market value?Thanks in advance. Reply:Looks like a adjustable torch holder off a pantoghaph will look in my Airco catalog.
