Reply:Sorry, my question was a little open ended. Getting the basic lay out and the "feel of what they like" isn't really the issue. its getting them to make the final selection on style ie. Single twist picket, single collar or two, picket with basket or not....I was debating making a portable display of sorts. But the amount of styles makes this unrealistic.I'm leaning towards finding some better quality pics. Reply:Get a King Archetectural catalog and show that to them. They can look through it and pick the pickets they want, unless it is to be more free form.

Reply:I have some sample pickets, also have a bucket 'o scrolls and other misc ironwork, that way they can see what is possible. I try to not give them a catalog with 3000 balusters to choose from. I also try not to show them suppliers prices, as they tend to think it is going to be a lot cheaper than it is going to be.

You might be able to a Google image search and find good pics of what you need to do the same thing.
