Has anyone tried using these lubrication pads on their miller suitcase x-treme 12vs wire feeder? Is there enough room to put these on? It says you can use these on any type of wire except for aluminum and stainless you can only use the red pad. Can you use these on flux-cored wires?
Reply:I just use the dry felt pads on my solid wire and I never use fluxcore. No expert but I wouldn't want oily residue in my liner. I think it would be impossible to clean short of soaking it in solvent. Maybe I'm wrong since I haven't heard of them.
