Reply:I don't know about the welding machine, but that truck would be just too cool if brought back to life as a welding rig.Qualified & experienced at welding scrap metal
Reply:A coat of wax and a new muffler and she'll be ready to go!
Reply:use that "cleaner wax", that should brightener up!!
Reply:Well tried to move it and no luck using my F250... I need to find a tractor, it has grown to the ground...lol
Reply:wheel bearings are probably seized or the ring/pinion gears
Reply:I grew up in the country, but have apparently lived in and around the city too long... the idea of disposal by parking it out back and letting it return to the elements seems foreign to me now On the other hand, I'm jealous of anyone with enough space to park a duallie and forget about it for a few decades.__David Hillman

Reply:My Dad sold welding supplies, so he was always running across stuff the he would buy and sell. When I was 14 he bought a 1966 Chevy 3/4 ton with a large Hobart welder and welding bed. He paid $800.00 for the truck, brought it home and I learned that my Dad was smarter than I thought! At the end of the first week he sold the welder for $800.00 (2nd day home), and then sold the bed for $350.00 (5th day). I made fun of him for buying that old truck because it was UGLY! By the end of the week he looked at me and said "do you know what that is sitting in the shed.... he said money!" Used the truck on the farm for a year and then traded if for a newer Dodge (78 model) even. By the time he was done trading he had a 3 year old 3/4 ton ford. I learned my dad was a smart man!

Reply:Hard to tell but I'm thinking either Pacific Northwest or Atlantic Northeast or somewhere along the Appalachian given the style of barn its sitting next to and the moss / lychen on the truck tires and the lack of rot through.
