Just wanted to get some opinions and and advice from you guys on midalloy stainless rods. I have been using them quite a bit here latley and and am not to fond of them. Ive been running the 309 and 316 3/16th rods they just seem to have a too much flux on them. They also are bad about porosity on starts. ( the way i have been counter acting that is by sticking them and letting the rod warm up a bit before striking an arc). In my opinion they are a pain in my butt and i will take a can of arcos before them anyday. Now with that being said i was just wondering what some of you guys think and maybe im doing something wrong.
