Reply:Nice Top of the line work Zap!You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else. Albert Einstein
Reply:Maybe it's just me or an optical illusion but the flat stock looks more like 1/4". B.T.W very nice work.
Reply:Very nice.
Reply:It kinda looks like the bars for a tow bar setup (like a car behind a truck or camper). Awful work, Yeah RIGHT. Beautiful as usual. You sir should give lessons to the less talented (you could make a lot of money).Miller thunderbolt 250Decastar 135ERecovering tool-o-holic ESAB OAI have been interested or involved in Electrical, Fire Alarm, Auto, Marine, Welding, Electronics ETC to name a just a few. So YES you can own too many tools.
Reply:Tow bars with a little bling around the ends?? Nice welds zap!Matt
Reply:You get all the fun jobs.
Reply:090 tube?  I would be afraid to tow much more than an atv with material that thin.  it wouldnt be the pulling that would be a problem, but the stopping could be a serious get busted in the rear issue I think.  Oh well Zap was contacted to do his always beautifull art and he did, as usual.  Gotta love them home engineers that think this stuff up.....BobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys?  Trade?
Reply:Why assume they are for highway use? How about mail carts that the USPS uses? Those are all welded aluminum construction and roll right on to aircraft.

Reply:Originally Posted by speedfreak87I was thinking the same thing, I work with 1/8" a lot and it's not that thick!Great welds, looks like a possible atv tow bar or maybe a lawn tractor.
Reply:Zap - Can I ask, what drives the choice of filler rod? Is there a specific reason you used 1/16" rather than 3/32". It certainly looks like a perfect call, but as a newbie with Al I was unclear if you have to move extra quick with 1/16" rod?
Reply:Nice work! Those are some really nice pictures did you photoshop?
Reply:As always, chi chis y cerveza. Oops, thats right, I am from Arizona, only popular to say it in English these days, so ,titties and beer!MLM
