Customs ATV flat deck

Over in New Zealand I helped to launched an ATV called the Vmoto Scartt II, now days I get a bit of work from the old customers, who require bits and pieces for bikes for there farms or to increase their fun on their toys.I just finished this job today (came back from powder coaters)...it's all TIG'd and made with a steel frame of Rectangle 50mm X 25mm and 25mm X 25mm RHS with bent 2mm Marine tread plate Aluminum sides, 18mm marine plywood base and ends.  It has a removable front center which has winch mounts ... it's my design and I've done everything from start to finish (nothing bought, except raw stock), including the latches...action shot of it fitted to the bike and powder coated black.enjoy
Reply:Good looking job , seems like ya'lls ATV's are bigger than ones around here, would be nice to see a completed unit with this bed on it.
Reply:Done, it's a UTV to be perfectly strict...but no one around here ever knows what I'm talking about so I just say ATV or ... shudder dune buggy if I'm really stuck.This one is the one before.. I made some changes...drop sides..a little bigger...more bends in the sides to make it stronger and plywood base and rear instead of treadplate AL...which makes it more farmer friendly and more impact resistant.

Reply:The units about 50 kilograms 120 lbs...by my arm lifting estimates...It's not lite, but farmers here are so hard on there gear it needs to built like a sherman tank...I know I'll hear stories of them using it as a tow hitch, battering ram, pushing cows/bulls with it etc etc...The cats a pretty big fellow...he likes to keep me company..
