Reply:Of course you are right.  The poky thing could be sharper , , , but . . . there is such a thing as poetic license.  It don't have to be a perfect representation of a living mosquito.A mosquito don't have as fat an abdomen as mine does.  The poker is sharper.  The thorax is larger.  When landed the wings are folded flat along the body.  Many are the differences but the mind fills in the blanks.A welder at work used to make them and he used 4 wings like a dragonfly.  He also bent the abdomen down like a bee coming in to sting.  Nobody cared.  Anyone who got one was glad to get it.I am semi-retired for the last couple of years and thought, hey, I can make one of those so I did.  Got out my Lincoln MigPak 100 with flux-core wire and went to town.I had a lot of fun making that mosquito and that is all that matters to me Gordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."
