Some shop pics , All full pen welds must be ground for UT D1.5 work . The 1958 Farrell Newton Mill bought for the Verazanno bridge still in use ! Milling the piece from ADF in Canada plate was milled 1/4 to 3/4 to true it up from welding . The last 2 Verendell truss pieces taken back from Urssa in Spain they could not fabricate to American D1.5 standards. Attached Images
