Backhoe bucket repair with 120v stick welder?!

Using my Miller Maxstar 150 STH and 3/32" 7018 @ ~100amps running off a 120v 20amp breaker.Crack running through the wear edge. It took a bobcat and a big gradall forklift to hold it close to where it should have been so I could "tack" it.The crack extends past the wear plate and spiders out into the mild steel bucket. I ground it out with a gas powered 14" demolition saw I found laying around in the guys shop. One million passes later. The plate was like 5/8" or 3/4" thick plus the bucket skin on the back side (3/16"?) on the lower portion.A few passes on the inside as well and you've salvaged one screwy *** tweaked bucket.
