tacking "ultra coat" fasteners

I am needing to tack 'Ultra/ armor coated" nuts on the back of a plate and I am wondering how careful I need to be? Basically, are tacking these nuts as bad as welding galv. thats been cleaned with brake cleaner or should I be OK with basic precautions. Thanks for input.
