I've been looking around online for more information about a couple different tig filler rods that I was given with no luck and was hoping somebody could help me out. What I basically want to know is what metals and alloys they can be used to weld with. 1. 706- I believe it is a inconel alloy the rod is a bluish color and used for hard surfacing.2. 350- I believe it is a chromium alloy and used for hard surfacing.3. A5.21 ERCoCr-E- I believe it is a cobalt alloy also used for hard surfacing.I know these can all be used on carbon base metals but I can't find anymore information about them and if they can be used to weld other base metals?
Reply:Anybody know where I can find more info? I sent messages to weld mold and euerka with no replies.
