Fun little weekend project! I know next to nothing about quality tubing rollers, but this thing seems to be fairly stout by HF standards. Anything to watch out for as far as weak points?Brad Attached Images----------MM180Lincoln PrecisionTig 225Hypertherm PM45Dyn 200dx

Reply:I've been looking at these for a while. Swag Off Road has a kit that he sells along with some dies that makes this a nice roller.

Reply:Did you really have to paint the whole tarp?? Hehe, j/k. Very nice job on the stand.
Reply:i found the set screws were soft and too short..the threads in the dies are fragile..got some hardened screws at hd and can tighten the dies down much better..i can see having to make holes bigger and retap as they strip out..alsao got screws for each die.. it comes with one set of screws and yer supposed to transfer them from size to size..haha..Last edited by weldbead; 10-03-2011 at 01:31 PM.

Reply:Mount a set of wheels off the back, like wheelie bar wheels, then you can just tip the stand back and roll it.Ed Conleyhttp://www.screamingbroccoli.com/MM252MM211 (Sold)Passport Plus & Spool gunLincoln SP135 Plus- (Gone to a good home)Klutch 120v Plasma cutterSO 2020 benderBeer in the fridge |
