sae 400,ln25 help

my sae 400 and ln 25 on hardwire does not maintain constant arc length,.035 with gas mix shield,does not want to turn down,also have flux core setup,is innershield ok ,nr 208h applicable to bucket welding,I keep sayin to one of my salesmen that it feels like it needs a constant voltage pack,can anyone help with settings,running reverse polarity on hardwire,is flux core straight?thaqnks in advance for help.

Reply:do you have cv adapter for your machine because you'll need one . i run big blue 400 and a company i was with wanted to use ln-25 for their sae machines but had to get the adapters for constant voltage . big blue already set up for it.
