Is it dangerous to use oxy-propane when the cylinders have been on there sides with a few hours! ?
Reply:No. You shouldn't have any issues with either one. Only acetylene needs to be kept upright prior to and during use. O2 can be used sideways if need be, and propane, being in a liquid/gas state in a hollow cylinder is good to go as soon as you turn the cylinder the correct way up. In fact they make both liquid and gas draw propane cylinders designed for horizontal use in forklifts. IIRC the gas draw "horizontal" forklift cylinders will work either horizontal or vertical..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:Shouldnt be one bit.Acetylene is absorbed in acetone and a medium, so it needs to sit vertically for a while to be safe. Propane can just be stood upright and be good to goEDIT.
