fixed my shovel

we got some snow.. i went to the shed to find my trusty shovel, and there it was, pos handle  was broke off just the way it was last spring..5 minutes in the scrap pile, bend bend twist twist 5 minutes at the tigger..cost of repair  $zero..not jumping on the road to go to hd and fight for the last one..priceless.. Reply:many thanks to my friends and ballbreakers..Duaneb55   yup a plastic cheapy, but it works and its paid for..(first foto)smokin dodge..i agree.. but i found the screw first and wanted to get er done..loanshark..i used a simple bending fork..bend a little, move 1/4" repeat...(2nd and 3rd foto)thorshammer..quite right..it doesnt show but i actually washed the sharp spots off with the torch, just tryin to go fast andget done..the handle is a good bit wider than my hand so there wont be much contact.. Reply:I would peen that screw head down and over flat and stamp my initials in it. Might be so many look alikes that you will need to be able to tell each other apart. Good job.My favorite snow shovel (when I have to absolutely use one) is the plastic grain shovel. Yeah, those sell out early too. Get your straw hats in Feb and your snow shovels in August.

Reply:I have the same shovel but it it's yellow..Out in the yard somewhere..Won't be needing it until the real winter gets here by the looks of things.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
