Which Torch Do You Recomend?

I have a Lincoln Ranger 250GXT and a HF unit for it now all I need is a good tig torch. I plan on doing aluminum and ss repair in the feild. Which torch would you recomend. I was thinking along the lines of a 250 amp torch. But should I get on with the hand amp control or not? I think i could maybe get away with out the hand amp control, but I want you seasoned welders opinion as I am only a young buck out of school (20 yrs old). Thanks fellas!

Reply:i have a knock of air cooled WP26and a CK watercooled CK300 .(same parts as a wp26)Id stick with the Known brands as the consumables fit in the knock off, but not as well.theres not that much of a price diff.im going to replace the cheapy with an aircooled CK sometime for mobile when i dont want to drag the cooler alongLast edited by gordfraser; 01-09-2011 at 10:21 PM.G
