I was asked to fix this up. I got a new mounting plate with the plow.I cut all the sh*t off with a torch, then the portaband. Start fresh. I kept the crossbar on the bottom, it looked ok.Leveled both ways.Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:I had a piece of 4X4X 1/4 angle. Just about the right length. Todays tool is a Miller Passport. Its a nice welder. I was on 7 for volts and 7 for wire speed or full tilt 10 on volts and 85% for wire speed. C/25 for gas. .030 er70s-6. I was scratching my azz trying to figure out the angles. I cut em on 45s then adjusted them with a 4.5" grinder. Its 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/4.Its the only blue machine I own. Settings. Nice machine. I was looking at Bernard guns today.I made quite a pile of scrap today. Too many lefts....Last edited by David R; 11-15-2011 at 08:14 PM.Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
