Reply:I'd be thinking "Return to Sender" personally...or is it so rare that you wouldn't be able to get another one in from a different source?--Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow
Reply:How big is the engine it goes on? can it be replaced easily? its die cast so it wont weld worth ****. If the vibration doesn't waste it the JB weld should do the job. clean and rough up well, It will only be an adhesive bond. Mac
Reply:If it's cast aluminum, this is a good application for those Alumiweld, Durafix, and other rods of the same prinicple.Get a backing dam behind the hole, then use the rod with a butane torch. It's not a welding rod, more like a brazing rod.Good luck.Lincoln Idealarc 250 (circa 1962)Lincoln Weldpak 155 w/Mig KitLincoln Squarewave TIG 175

Reply:is'nt that the air filter connection ? Epoxy or duct tape it or foil tape it and worry about bigger things. Those updraft carbs totally suck. If you replace the carb , use a small mc carb , they work way better.
Reply:Greyhorse;Yeah, it's off a one lunger 16 HP Briggs. Think that 3M is a good bet , from David R. all the best
