Screw jacks

No welding just some light machining.. I have some equipment at work that I work on that is a pretty tight squeeze for my arms to get under so I made the screw jacks that I can easily carry with me. Reply:those will come in handy.. simple clean effective.. good idea.  you might add some wrench flats on the bases makes it handy when you have to reach in for adjustment. i have never really considered making my own, i have 4 pair of the starrett screw jacks with the spacers at work, but i need some for my mill at home. i do have a couple of union nuts and flange nuts and bolts that i put together and surface ground them, they work in a pinch, and good when you need something short..Last edited by brucer; 11-18-2011 at 10:15 PM.tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
