I have a dialarc hf. It has hook-ups for water coming out the front of the welder. Other than a water cooled torch, what else do I need to set it up for water cooled operation.
Reply:The Dial Arcs came with a water solenoid for hooking up the torch cooling to the shop water supplier (garden hose) and then the water was run down a drain. Worked OK for heated environments. There is also a 110 VAC outlet beside the water solenoid for plugging in a water cooler that switches off and on with the machine. If you use a cooler you do not use the solenoid as it will cause the pump to overheat when the pedal is not depressed.Use the search function for info on coolers as this topic has been discussed too many time to need repeating again.RogerOld, Tired, and GRUMPYSalesman will call, Batteries not included, Assembly is required, and FREE ADVICE IS WORTH EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR IT!Dial Arc 250HFThunderbolt 225 AC/DCAssorted A/O torches
