Reply:cool looking trucks at least there newer models than these Attached Images
Reply:My rig, soon to be on a new chassis, I hate the GMC that hauls the body around. Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Adms welding, nice trucks! Tozzi, what type of hoist is that you have? Nice truck, was it a propane tank truck at one time? Looks really handy.
Reply:Here you go Stickman. You wanted some of My F550. Wilcox custom body. Attached Images. No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:that 550 is sweet, all it needs is  a service crane to really top it off!                                                                     Bob
Reply:Will be getting one someday when $$$ there. The deck has a 5/8"plate on the rear p-side corner 24"x24" all the cross members from the rear tire back are 6"O/C and are heavier then the fronts there 7.25lbs/ft, the front ones are 16"O/C and 5.4lbs/ft.
Reply:Oh sure guys, all gang up and blame me for wanting to see the trucks! I'm surprised tbone isn't posting his and blaming it on me, too!!!Adams, that is one nice rig! Thanks for the pics. I like to look at the details, like the flood lights, and such. I always do research, so when/if I get a dedicated truck, I already know what I want."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:Tozzi, what was the final outcome with your truck? I thought I read it somewhere, but I can't remember what is was and I can't find it. Unfortunately, when you say it will be on another chassis, it doesn't sound good."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:Man DSW, that is one BIG tool box! I hope you don't fill that thing!!! Actually, I'd like to see how you fill it. This seems to be a jack of all trades truck. Has room for all different kinds of tools. Are you happy with it? Or did it look more user friendly before you bought it? My plumber buddy works out of an E-350 box truck with shelves on the inside. Yous looks ALOT more expensive. Nice truck though. "Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:dsw , your truck is nice too ! but that comment was for adms truck, dsw  i work out of a truck body similar to yours & the only complaint about the truck is i have no crane. it would be handy for pullin sewage ejection pumps,  , or puttin motors back up on cyclones etc. adm gotta keep an eye on craigslist I picked up this gem in your back yard, ( worcester) for under a grand, i am currently working on  a foundation in my shop to mount it, pics upon completion. here is the crane, its a venturo et10kx, power everything, had an oil leak, 98 cent oring. works great                        Bob Attached Images

Reply:I actually went to search tempest.com typed in ( truck crane) within 250 miles from my zip code. & a bunch of them came up. Took me a couple of days to get a response from seller but when I did I pretty much bought it over th phone. The irony of it is I cannot mount it to my truck, I bought it to use in my shop

Reply:Nice heimbuckwelding, is that a Big 40 D or G?But REALLY guys, you need to post all these pics in the show off your rig, thread. You all are gonna get me in trouble, if this turns into ANOTHER rig thread! Zap will zap me!!!That sucks, Tozzi. At least it's fixed and it wasn't MAJOR. Good luck with the search for the new chassis."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:I have a company truck, with an enclosed body, so my crane on their truck is not an option. when my boss saw a coworker & myself pulling a 15 h.p. sewage ejector from a pit manually, he said your next truck will have a crane on it, now that i see what you were talking about. we have  since acquired a forklift which comes in handy but it is not with me all the time, and is a real time waster if i have to move it, go get the trailer, drive to the warehouse, bring to the job etc.... i would still like the same body, its a stahl  11' enclosed utility  ( kuv) style on a gmc 3500 truck. i would have liked a ford, but when you work for a scohhl district  low bid is a big thing. the body would need 1 side modified to accomodate a crane but i dont think it would be a big deal, would lose some inside storage, but its a small price to pay.                     Bob                                                     Bob
Reply:If your gonna do a crane go to the local spring shop and have them add a few leafs to the crane side of the truck.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:The GMC is running and working, I am looking for an International, or a Ford medium duty chassis. No more pickup trucks that want to play heavy duty. I carry to much weight everyday to screw around with small trucks.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
