Hi all:Kinda new to this forum, finally decided to take a course and actually learn how to weld properly Too much bubble gum for too long. Over the last few years I have been sort of acquiring stick welders (up until yesterday they were given to me ) and with most things you inherit, there may/may not be problems with them.In the case of one of my stick welders, which is a Solar 2230 230A AC Welder Model # 110-110-936 the amperage lever doesn't exactly stay where it should which makes it hard to control the output. Does anyone happen to have an Owner's Manual/Repair-Service Manual/Parts Catalog for this machine? I would kinda like to service it and get it running properly. It isn't my only stick but it is a nice machine for an off-brand. I understand that they are no longer in business possibly being bought out by Century? My searches on the net so far have been lackluster in the result category. A couple of pics on past auctions is about it Do appreciate. |
