Kevin bent up this oil tank for his customer and I helped out welding  it, I really like his design....The welds aren't too bad either    Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock

Reply:Is that a tank for the fuel/oil mixture then?  Great work."The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt

Reply:That's an oil only tank for a v-twin pro mod I'm building for a customer. The fuel is in the frame along with the nitrogen. It might look confusing with the fittings on it. It drains and feeds from the bottom. The 3 on top are for return, case vent, and external head drain. Nothing store bought on these tanks except for the isolated mounts and temporary caps. Fittings, filler plugs, bungs, all machined in house.
Reply:BC, you missed a full house at dinner tonight. I'm stuffed.

Reply:You can't worry about eternal drips with these bikes.  It's the external rods that are a problem...

Reply:It not an oil leak , it's rust preventative. Great looking tank. Love the beefy-ness of S&S cases.

Reply:Originally Posted by tackitVery nice.   I would like to have a SS expanded metal protector bent in the same shape setting may be 3/4" off the tank if there is enough clearence for one.
