Reply:Ottawa Fastener dumped 'Weld-It" for Forney.  I've seen some pricey Forney bronze ground clamps that look like lower-priced Hobart ones.  Real contrast is the rubber female 50 amp receptacle for a welding extension cord... $40 for Forney at Ottawa Fastener and $20 for Hobart at TSC stores - same thing in different package.I've bought 3/32 inch 6013 & 7014 Forney electrodes from Ottawa fastener and 1/8 inch 6011, 6013, 7014 and AC7018 from Home Hardware.  As far as the electrodes go, IMO not as good (burning and slag) as house brands from Praxair, Air Liquid (Blueshield) or Linde/Boc or name brands such as Lincoln, ESAB or Hobart.  Maybe it's just a supplier thing here in Canada.  Forney Canada only carries a sub-set of what Forney USA has.  e.g. Forney aluminum brazing flux is not available in Canada because Forney Canada told me the Canadian labelling/importing/hazmet requirement made it prohibative for the amount sold here.If I were after an oxy-acetylene torch, I wouldn'y buy Forney - you have no idea who really made it.Rick V 1 Airco Heliwelder 3A/DDR3 CTC 70/90 amp Stick/Tig Inverters in Parallel1 Lincoln MIG PAK 151 Oxy-Acet
Reply:In my experience, most of the abrasives are sub-par but work in a pinch. The chop saw blades are usable. Tha SMAW electrodes are junk, but the brass brazing rod is ok. Never used the Mig wire.
